[004] Get ready! The “People/Places/Things” series presents, with great enthusiasm, our colleague John Allison, past president of CIC-Nipissing District, speaking on “Hurried while Smiling: Reflections on a Life in the CIC and some thoughts on Education Diplomacy”

John continues to have a very successful CIC career, having served important roles in CIC-Nipissing, as well as earlier in CIC-Waterloo. His membership significantly staddles both faces of the organization, during its CIIA and its CIC years. His life outside of CIC includes a very successful career as a Full Professor in the Schulich School of Education at Nipissing University, North Bay, Canada, where he teaches Educational Foundations and International Education to pre-service teacher candidates, and to masters and doctoral students.

Join us as John discusses his life, his city, his CIC branch and his well-respected work in the fields of global governance and education diplomacy in his talk entitled “Hurried while Smiling: Reflections on a Life in the CIC and some thoughts on Education Diplomacy”

This Zoom series is brought to you by the good folks at CIC-Saskatoon. CIC-Saskatoon thanks John for being willing to share his time with us, and with you.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
