CIC Winnipeg: Serving in Uniform, Serving in Scrubs
October 14 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm CDT

Canada’s security is shaped not only by what happens at our borders, but by the strength, readiness and resilience of the institutions and people who serve Canadians every day.
On October 14, the Canadian International Council – Winnipeg Branch will host “Serving in Uniform, Serving in Scrubs” —an important conversation exploring the intersection of health security, defence readiness and Canada’s place in an increasingly complex world.
We are honoured to welcome Senator Flordeliz “Gigi” Osler and Senator Rebecca Patterson: two distinguished Canadian leaders whose careers span medicine, military service, public policy and the Senate of Canada. Together, they will offer unique perspectives on leadership, preparedness and what Canada must do to remain resilient at home and credible internationally.
We look forward to moderating this timely discussion at the Manitoba Legislative Building.
