CIC Victoria: Who needs Five Eyes? Canada’s role in international intelligence

April 12, 2022 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm EDT

It’s another in-person Politics-in-the-Pub night at the Sticky Wicket and this time with Alan Breakspear.  And this is a timely event given the situation in Ukraine and the role that intelligence has and is playing.  Alan served for 30-years in Canada’s federal public service, mostly in the intelligence field. He started as a linguist/analyst with the Communications Security Establishment (CSE), headed Canada’s first strategic analysis unit in the Privy Council Office (PCO) and after work in program analysis at Treasury Board (TBS) moved on to be a senior manager in the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS).

Please contact CIC Victoria for more information.
