An “inside the Washington Beltway” look at what’s happening in the US election and what its impact could be on Canada.
Speaker’s Biography
An honest broker’s opinion from inside the Washington Beltway. Originally from Montréal, Harvey Rishikof is a graduate of McGill University, and Chair of the American Bar Association Advisory Standing Committee on Law and National Security, with the following executive level experience:
• Office of the National Counterintelligence Executive – Senior Policy Advisor
• U.S. Department of Justice – Federal Bureau of Investigation, Legal Counsel to the Deputy Director
• US National War College – Dean of faculty
• Roger Williams University – Dean of School of Law
• U.S. Supreme Court – Administrative Assistant to the Chief Justice of the U.S.
• Council on Foreign Relations; American Law Institute – Lifetime member
Harvey is a sought-after national speaker in the area of cybersecurity and national security and has written numerous articles and monographs on these topics including co-authoring “The National Security Enterprise – Navigating the Labyrinth”. He is a frequent lecturer at the Canadian Forces College.
Harvey will be accompanied by his partner, Dina Temple-Raston who is the counter-terrorism correspondent for the US National Public Radio. With a Nieman Fellowship at Harvard University, she studied the intersection of Big Data and intelligence.
