The Atlantic Council for International Cooperation (ACIC) and the Canadian International Council (CIC) Halifax Branch will host an online panel discussion ‘International Development in a Post-Pandemic World’.

What will international development look like in a post-pandemic world?

How can Canada utilize its resources effectively to support sustainable economic and social development globally?

Is there a need to consider new approaches or to scale-up innovative models that will allow Canada to maximize its use of aid as a ‘soft power’ to support citizens, civil societies and governments through challenging times economically, politically and culturally?

The Panel:

Moderated by Colin Dodds (President Emeritus, Saint Mary’s University, CIC Halifax member)

ACIC members:

Chris Eaton (Executive Direction, World University Service of Canada)
Fadi Al Qassar (Co-Founder and Executive Director, Venture 2 Impact)
Shelagh Savage (Advisory Council Chair, Royal Roads University and ACIC Board Member)
