CIC Edmonton: Strengthening Public Education in Edmonton & Beyond

June 29, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 6:45 pm MDT

Education is the basic building block of every society.  In Edmonton, our public help shape the future of Edmonton youth and our local communities. However, in Edmonton and across the world, there remains many challenges in our public education systems. How are global issues related to innovation in our education system, student mental health, and connecting schools to the greater community being tackled in Edmonton?

Canadian International Council Edmonton’s Global Issues, Local Leaders series seeks to look at complex global issues and how they are being addressed in Edmonton.  On June 29th, CIC Edmonton will be joined by Edmonton Public School Board Trustee and Vice-Chair of the Edmonton Public School Board, Nathan Ip who will speak to CIC members and guests on his work to tackle education challenges in Edmonton.

This speaking engagement will be online and include an opportunity for Q&A.
