CIC Calgary: Globalization versus Isolation: What is Canada’s Role in an Increasingly Isolationist World?
March 27, 2017 @ 8:00 am - 10:30 am EDT
With the rise of isolationist sentiments worldwide, what roles and responsibilities should Canada and Alberta have? What is the best way to navigate in this changing political and economic environment? What are the potential opportunities and threats that lie ahead? Join the Canadian International Council (CIC) in this engaging speaker series as we discuss these questions with prominent political minds and policy shapers. This roundtable discussion will be followed by an open question period to give you an opportunity to engage in this discussion.
CIC-Calgary Branch is pleased to partner with the Canada West Foundation on this event. The Canada West Foundation focuses on the policies that shape the West, and by extension, Canada. Through our evidence-based research and commentary, we provide practical solutions to tough public policy challenges facing the West, and Canada as a whole, at home and on the global stage.
